March saw us welcome a fine delegation of MPs and diplomats from Canada.
With them, we had the opportunity to visit the National Assembly and the Senate as part of the preparations for the end-of-life law that is due to be voted on in France shortly.
One of the delegation’s parliamentarians, Marc Dalton, was our guest speaker at a luncheon conference on Tuesday, March 12, on the theme Current Issues, Leadership and Peace in 2024.
Marc illuminated his talk with some of the lessons learned from his years of parliamentary service.
Many of the ambassadors and diplomats who attended the event appreciated Marc’s humorous and straightforward sharing of his faith journey, and how a personal and living relationship with Jesus Christ helps him in his day-to-day responsibilities and choices.
A wonderful evening organized at the Aéroclub de France, a magnificent venue that enabled us to meet new people, discover promising young artists and take a spiritual and soothing break in a tense international context.
